I'm an Irish Entrepreneur with a love for technology, design, business and communications. My start-ups and freelance work have won awards and have taken me around the world, from Abu Dhabi to Boston.
I currently work as a digital media designer & junior developer in Plan It Appy, an Irish start-up that provides business management software for gyms, studios and fitness trainers. I run my own freelance design agency, TripodMedia.ie. I provide graphic design, web design and IT consultancy to startups and SME's in Ireland, and have clients in the fashion, software, property, and services sectors.
I was the editor of the college's 76-page annual magazine for two years, and worked with a committee of writers and photographers to bring it to life, taking over from the design agency that had previously been running it. I also designed and layed out the publication.
I worked as graphic designer and IT Manager for Photon Racing, a team in the F1 in Schools Challenge; where competitors design, build and race miniature F1 cars. We were one of just 39 teams from around the world to compete in the 2014 World Finals in Abu Dhabi. We won "Best Portfolio and Pit Display" at the Irish 2014 National Final, and "Best Verbal Presentation" at the Irish 2014 Regional Final.
I co-founded Crono Labs with Oliver Burke. We designed the C1 Case, a computer case for hardware enthusiasts, and raised $3,134 on IndieGoGo to have a prototype created.
I worked as a junior web developer for Block 5 Marketing (Now Devout Digital), a digital design and marketing agency in Galway city. The work I carried out here includes:
